Compass Table
 This 72-inch diameter table was designed to
complement the Herb Kane lobby painting
(The Discovery of Oahu), which depicts the
arrival of the Hawaiians to Oahu. The table
houses a Hawaiian Star Chart and Compass
Rose. This table was constructed using
both solid Hawaiian Koa lumber and Koa
veneers and finished with hand rubbed
penetrating oil and clear lacquer.
