Circa 1900 O.G. Traphagen Historical home; Mr. Ferla worked with Fredrick H. Furer
Architect/Owner to renovate and restore this Manoa landmark. Mr. Ferla was involved in all
phases of the project including slab work, footings and foundations, ceramic tile work,
restoration carpentry, architectural millwork and all the window and door reproductions
needed to bring this home into a standard that placed it as a Hawaiian Historical home.
The garage pictured in the foreground is new construction. Mr. Ferla took extra care to match
all architectural and aesthetic elements of the home’s original design.
